We just discovered this amazing website where the goal is to help women realize that they ARE beautiful just as they are... Here at LWS we have women (and men too) of all ages, sizes, and shapes. There is something transformative about simply "being" in your skin alone. It does vary from person to person, but the bottom line is self-acceptance. Oprah says: "Step out of your Box"

Believe it or not, Oprah Winfrey challenged a group of 40-something women to give skinny-dipping a try as part of a "step out of the box" episode. You can read more details on Oprah's site here.

Yep, stepping into the unknown or doing something you've not ever done can bring a unique sense of "life" back into you. Here is a question for you: "When was the LAST time you did something for the FIRST time?" It really is a good question.

We get comfortable in our life and we slowly drop into a stagnant state. Then before we know it we settle into a predictable routine and then one day we bottom out... "Is this all there is?" we ask ourselves.

Oprah's challenge is a good one. Here at Living Waters Spa we see people from all walks of life, all backgrounds, various ages and ethnicity come and try a "social nude" setting for the first time. Guess what happens? A revitalization of life - I'm not kidding. Doing things for the first time - things that reveal your inner self - have a way of waking up our sleepy (lethargic even) souls. To feel the warm sun ALL OVER your body, to step out of a pool and not have a clingy bathing suit to remind you of your perceived imperfections, to feel the air brush across your being... well, you've just got to "step out of your box" and give it a try.

Living Waters Spa is a safe place. We really are! We are a place for personal retreat not party. Couples and singles find a true "oasis" here at LWS. Palm Springs has a number of clothing optional or nudist hotel resorts but we are the only one whose emphasis is on "spa." Our mineral water pools (fed from mother earth) are the ONLY clothing optional mineral water pools in Southern California. If you are wanting to step out of your clothes, in a social setting, for the first time, we are the place.

Huntington Beach Bans Nudity

The town of Huntington Beach, California, has successfully passed an anti-nudity law despite an outpouring of support from those who opposed the ban. Over 13 speakers, most of which were against the measure, attended the meeting, and e-mails from around the world were sent urging council members to reconsider. A poll on the Orange County Register's website garnered over 1,200 votes with 80% of respondents against the proposed law. But Monday, the City Council unanimously voted to ban public nudity where it is visible from a public area. Proposed regulations on women breastfeeding an infant older than age two and restrictions on wearing a costume or device that simulated nudity were deleted from the ordinance. The big issue was over a man who would leave his house naked and go outside to pick up his paper and generally just be au naturel. Our culture isn't ready for such simple nudity in public places.

Here at Living Waters Spa once you walk thru our privacy doors you can enjoy being naked anywhere on our grounds. Skinny-dipping in our mineral water pools, european-style sunbathing (nude or topless), and just "being in your skin."
